Biography
I grew up in Canton, China, where my first exposure to art was learning Danqing, Chinese ink painting. From an early age, I’ve appreciated the beauty of nature and artwork and have sought to understand what makes some art captivating at first glance. With five years of experience in digital marketing and account management, I’ve worked in various roles at photography studios, advertising agencies, and media companies, including Chia-Hua Chiang’s Studio, Prime Solution Ltd., and McCann Worldgroup. My previous experience in fast-paced environments has honed my ability to multitask, keep projects on track, and communicate effectively in the workplace. I’ve managed multinational accounts, including Fortune 500 companies and industry leaders. As a native Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese speaker, I’ve also embraced English as my third language. Throughout my career, I’ve connected deeply with my passion for creativity, which inspired me to pursue
my dream of becoming a graphic designer. To continue growing personally and professionally, I moved to the United States.
Driven by my passion for creativity, I chose to complete a bachelor’s degree in Visual and Art Technology at George Mason University. I’m proud to have received the Gold Award in The Real Show Competition in 2024 and the Silver Award in 2023. My work has also been showcased in exhibitions such as Singularity: Student Juried Exhibition (2024) and NVCC Alexandria’s Spring and Summer 2022 Student Juried Exhibitions, reflecting my creative design skills.
I enjoy creating advertising, publication, and typographic designs. I have a voracious appetite for tackling new challenges
and dedicating the time needed to bring my vision to life. As a nature lover, my work often focuses on the interaction between humans and the environment. I believe the environment matters, and I’m committed to promoting sustainability within the design industry.
